more about Mike

Helping others has always been part of who I am

Helping people has always been at the heart of who I am.

For over 20 years I’ve worked as a nurse, spending much of my career in emergency care and supporting people through some of life’s most difficult and uncertain moments.

Nursing taught me the importance of listening deeply, staying calm under pressure and understanding that people often need more than answers, they need reassurance, connection and someone willing to truly see them.

But alongside nursing, there has always been another side to me quietly unfolding in the background.

There was always something I couldn’t quite ignore

Growing up within a Catholic environment, I never fully connected with religion itself, but I did feel a strong spiritual connection from a young age.

I've always been deeply sensitive to energy, emotions and changes around me. Even as a child I noticed atmospheres and feelings I couldn’t always explain.

One of my earliest experiences happened during a retreat when I was around fifteen years old.

While out walking, I experienced an overwhelming feeling of love, connection and presence unlike anything I had experienced before.

The feeling was so powerful and undeniable that I remember knowing, even then, that I was never truly alone.

Searching for my own path

Like many people, my teens and early twenties became a period of searching.

Searching for direction.

Searching for truth.

Searching for who I really was.

Travel became a huge part of that journey and I found myself repeatedly drawn to India, somewhere I’ve returned to several times and which continues to hold a special place in my heart.

It was there I began leaning more deeply into the spiritual side of myself.

I trained in Reiki, explored yoga and found myself inspired by the connection, openness and energy I experienced there.

Over 20 years ago, whilst travelling in New Zealand, I had only my second ever reading.

I wasn’t sure what to expect.

But during that reading I felt energy incredibly strongly, similar to the experience I’d had years earlier.

The medium looked at me and simply said:

"You've got the gift."

She explained that one day I could work in this way too.

I was curious.

But I wasn’t ready.

Life carried on and I quietly placed it to one side.

The call became harder to ignore

Years later, after several years of sobriety, something began changing.

The sensitivity to energy I’d experienced throughout my life started becoming stronger and harder to ignore.

I recognised it immediately.

It felt familiar.

Like an inner calling I could no longer push aside.

Deep down, I knew I needed clarity.

Part of me hoped I would go for another reading and be told it was nothing.

Instead, during that reading the energy felt even stronger than before.

And almost word for word I heard the same message again:

"You've got the gift."

Only this time something shifted.

I knew without question that I could no longer ignore what had always been there.

My spiritual development truly began from that point.

Although looking back now, I realise it had always been there.

This was simply the moment I fully committed to it.

Returning to what was always there

Today my work is less about prediction and more about clarity, connection and helping people trust their own intuition.

People often tell me they feel immediately at ease and are surprised by the depth of information that comes through.

Many return time and time again because they leave feeling clearer, lighter and more connected to themselves.

Helping people reconnect with themselves and trust that quiet voice within has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
